Now though, there’s The Mighty Atlas slot to take a closer look at, so let’s see if it does this legendary figure justice.
Overview: The Mighty Atlas
The Mighty Atlas slot is a 5×3 reel slot that features 40 selectable paylines in play. You can play one, 10, 20, 30, or 40 paylines per spin, though conventional slot strategy suggests that the maximum number of paylines is most beneficial to the player. Gameplay: The Mighty Atlas

The reels feature the seemingly standard choice for the lower value symbols nowadays, the playing card low symbols from Ten through to Ace, all of which offer rather small payouts of up to 15 coins for 5 on a payline.

Additional features

What works?
Super Stacked Symbols
Without doubt the best feature of the game is the Super Stacked Symbols, without which the slot wouldn’t function. The randomly assigned Super Stacked Symbols can include Wild symbols, which offers the largest possible payout in the game if you can land all 15 spaces as these symbols.
Free Spins round
The Free Spins bonus round does change pace nicely when landed with new reels and the Capture Feature. Bigger wins are possible in the Free Spins round than the base game, but this is a volatile feature and some wins can be relatively small at times
Medium variance
This is a medium variance slot which means that there are somewhat regular wins but they are a mix of sizes. Single line wins tend to pay out very little so you need to hit multiple payline wins using the Wild and Super Stacked Symbols to achieve higher value wins on the slot.

No multipliers
A lack of multipliers throughout the game does make it a little less interesting to play. The Capture Feature offers a variation on this, but it is hard to trigger and with the value of single payline wins being so low, a multiplier on a Wild completed w

The Free Spins game can be hard to hit at times and you do seem to have many heart-stopping moments on the way towards triggering the game. It is frustrating when you eventually trigger it but only win a small amount though and that does tend to happen a little too frequently.
Small base game wins
The biggest issue is the size of single payline base game wins. Even five of a kind on a payline in most cases does not cover the cost of your spin. A multiplier or some other factor to increase the value of these wins would certainly have been a good idea and made the slot more appealing.

There’s nothing too exciting about this slot graphically, although the sound does kick up a notch when you trigger the Free Spins round. The graphics are clear and well-defined, but nothing truly excites you about the presentation.

The Super Stacked Symbol and the Capture Feature are nice additions to the slot and they do give the game a little more creativity than usual, but other than that what you have here is a somewhat standard 5×3 reel, 40-payline slot.

This is a real mixed bag and it can be very different from one session to the next but overall the play value on The Mighty Atlas slot isn’t too bad over the longer term, as those spells of small and no wins are punctuated with much higher wins from time to time.
