What is PointsBetting?

PointsBetting is a unique way to bet where your wins and losses are not fixed, but instead vary depending on how correct your wagers are. For greater explanation, here's an example:

• You wager $10 on the Brooklyn Nets (-10) to cover the spread in their game vs. the New York Knicks. And suppose the Nets win in a blowout, 130-100.
• With traditional, fixed odds betting, you'd win a little over $9 on this bet. With PointsBetting, however, you would win $200.
• That's because PointsBetting multiplies your wager by the number of units you were right or wrong by. In this case, the Nets covered the spread by 20 points, and 20 units multiplied by $10 equals $200.

PointsBetting has the potential to win or lose you a lot of money with relatively small wager amounts, but you have control of that, as well. All PointsBetting markets have max loss and max win levels, and many of them include a slider bar that lets you set those levels.
