Head coach: Alain Vigneault (since April 2019)

Vigneault was hired by the Flyers before the 2019-20 season. In his first season, Vigneault led the Flyers to a 41-21-7 record. Before the Flyers, Vigneault coached the Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, and New York Rangers. His all-time coaching record is 714-479-35. He has led two of his teams to the Stanley Cup Final but is yet to win the Cup.

Assistant coach: Michel Therrien

Therrien joined Vigneault's staff with Philadelphia in 2019. Therrien replaced Vigneault as Montreal's head coach in 2000. Therrien went on to coach the Pittsburgh Penguins and was fired during the 2009 Stanley Cup-winning season. He then returned to Montreal where he coached until 2017. Assistant coach: Mike Yeo

Mike Yeo is another former NHL head coach who finds himself as an assistant on the Flyers coaching staff. Yeo coached the Minnesota Wild from 2011 through 2016. He then coached the St. Louis Blues from February 2017 through November 2018. He was fired, and then the Blues went on to win the Stanley Cup later that season.

Assistant coach: Darryl Williams

Williams was hired as an assistant coach in July after serving most recently as an assistant coach for the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL. He has ten seasons of prior NHL assistant coaching experience, nine of which have been under Vigneault.
