Sweet March Madness Promos: New DraftKings Sportsbook Customers Can Get 100-1 Odds On Any Team

March Madness 2021

It’s the Second Chance Dance for March Madness, with the Sweet 16 arriving Saturday.

Major New Jersey online sportsbooks sympathize with the blown-up brackets and survivor pools hitting bettors in last weekend’s opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

They respond with promos and boosts giving New Jersey online gamblers a fresh start. Some bets are no-brainers. Some use the risk-reward formula. All are interesting.

So, turn the page on Illinois, Texas, Ohio State, and West Virginia, who bowed out of this tournament unexpectedly.

It’s a new weekend and the offers here.

Welcome to DraftKings, choose your boost

How does bet $1 to win $100 on the boost of your choice sound?

Given Gonzaga’s tournament excellence, new DraftKings Sportsbook customers can earn a $100 return simply by wagering $1 on the Bulldogs moneyline. However, this Choose Your Boost promo is available to new users only.

This means Gonzaga isn’t the only option on the board. New customers can choose from any of the remaining Sweet 16 teams or Saturday’s UFC 260 main event between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou. It would take guts to choose a toss-up UFC main event over Gonzaga on the moneyline against Creighton, as double-digit chalk, although some will.

The offer is good for the Elite Eight, Final Four or National Championship Game, too, for new customers who prefer sitting out the Sweet 16. One bet per user.

For many, this bet will be hammered before Gonzaga’s Sunday game.  If bettors wait too long, they will have to choose between much tougher games in the later rounds.

Here are the basic promo rules:

  • Odds boost is for first-time depositors only
  • New users must create an account and make a minimum deposit of $5
  • Following the deposit, visit the sportsbook promos page and pick your game by clicking Boost This Event next to the event of your choice
  • Following the game selection, new customers will be issued a 100-1 single-use odds boost.
  • Bettors can not change boosted wager after clicking the boost
  • Max bet is $1
  • Excludes live bets, parlays, free wagers, cashouts, and voided bets

DraftKings bettors getting a second chance

DraftKings has an array of other enticing offers.

Are you one the victim of a busted bracket thanks to Oral Roberts or Loyola Chicago? Well, heading into the round of 16, DraftKings customers are getting a second shot at a $100,000 prize pool.

A second-chance bracket has only a $20 entry fee and will have several thousand entries before tipoff. There was a tad under 3,000 as of early Friday afternoon. Here are the top-five prizes:

  • First place: $50,000
  • Second place: $30,000
  • Third place: $10,000
  • Fourth place: $6,000
  • Fifht place: $4,000

Others may prefer taking a crack at a $20,000 pool for a $200 entry fee.

Bigger money means fewer entries and better odds. But bettors need to be precise. Only the top five places pay, with the top finisher earning $10,000 while fifth-place walks away with $800.

In between, the pool returns $6,000 for second place, $2,000 for third and $1,200 for fourth.

There are also some no-risks, no-entry-fee pools.  A second-chance bracket and survivor pool each pay $10,000 and are winner-take-all.

FanDuel Sportsbook + another shot a cool $1 million

Sometimes it’s the luck of the draw. Lucrative luck.

The March Million Sweepstakes is continuing for the remainder of the tournament.  A second lucky FanDuel Sportsbook customer will win a million-dollars simply by placing a bet on one of the tournament’s college basketball games.

Any new or current FanDuel customer, who places a bet on the tournament, will automatically be entered into the $1,000,000 March Million sweepstakes. Each subsequent bet made on the tournament gets you an additional entry (max one per day)

While the March Million carries long odds, the +3000 odds boost for first-time users is a near guarantee. At least if a moneyline chalk comes in.

The boost concerns any of the games remaining in the tournament. All the team must do is win the next game.

Gonzaga over Creighton will be the choice of many.

Fan Duel offers 30-1 odds, $5 to win $150, for its +3000 boost.

Users must download the FanDuel Sportsbook app, sign up and verify their accounts. After that, a deposit is required and the bettor can unlock the bonus.

William Hill offering bang for some March Madness bucks

Will Hill NJ is enticing bettors who believe the chalk can walk the walk. It may not be a slam dunk, but we’ll call it a possible slam.

The book has boosted Baylor from -330 to +100 against Villanova. That’s a sweet price for a team giving 7.5 points.

Villanova Wildcat fans may have mixed emotions on this one.

The max bet of $25 could ease the pain if the Wildcats are not able to slip past the No.  1 seed.

Villanova backers essentially backed off last weekend, and the Wildcats surprised them with triumphs over Winthrop and North Texas. Villanova probably won’t get the lion’s share of money again.

Last weekend, William Hill made this odds boost even more compelling. It reduced Gonzaga to +100 against Oklahoma and had a $50 max bet.

For gamblers who cashed on Gonzaga’s  87-71 triumph, that seemed as easy as an introductory offer promo.

Find the edge with PointsBet

PointsBet is offering a couple of vig busters, for New Jersey residents only.

Can Gonzaga top 86 points against Creighton? That’s been hiked 30 basis points from -120 to +110. That’s possibly the difference between playing and not playing this bet.

Gonzaga has been the tournament juggernaut, scoring 98 and 87 points in its two triumphs.

Loyola of Chicago, the overlooked No. 8 seed that stomped top-seeded Illinois, has been in the -6.5 to -7 range against upstart Oregon State. As a 12 seed, Oregon State notched two victories last weekend.

If you like Loyola, take the odds from -110 to +110.

Max bet on each is $50. The wager can be found on Booster Hub.

These wagers alone won’t be whirlwinds. But they can be part of a good overall betting plan.
