A New Jersey resident got extremely lucky this week when they hit a jackpot worth  $550,000 playing DraftKings Casino. The Garden State player earned the massive payout on the MegaJackpots Wheel of Fortune On Air game this past Sunday, Sept. 25.

Many in the state are familiar with the NJ gambling provider as it’s been active in NJ since 2018. There is no real surprise that DraftKings Casino provided another jackpot, as it features more than 500 games throughout its platform.

Currently, its NJ casino includes 39 total games that offer some type of jackpot, with several of those progressive.

More about the DraftKings’ Wheel of Fortune jackpot

Winning money on an online casino game is always exciting, but snagging the game’s progressive jackpot brings things to a new level. That’s exactly what one DraftKings New Jersey player did this past weekend when wagering on the popular Wheel of Fortune-based slot.

Overall, the NJ player took home $553,534.28.

Those who bet with NJ online casinos often see a bunch of different Wheel of Fortune games to play. DraftKings actually carries eight different varieties of the classic game show that still airs today.

All of them highlight the look and feel of the show by implementing its puzzle board and wheel. Of the eight options, only the MegaJackpots On Air version gives bettors the opportunity of a sizable jackpot.

Spinning the Wheel of Fortune can trigger the MegaJackpots Bonus, resulting in these six-figure wins for NJ online casino gamblers.

DraftKings Vice President of Product Operations, Signe Yama, discussed this latest jackpot win and how the operator sets itself apart. Yama said:

“We are providing DraftKings Casino customers with an exciting variety of iGaming entertainment and prizes that is unlike any other in the industry. It’s thrilling to see our customers win big like the lucky individual who won Sunday’s large jackpot.”

Since some game titles get more traction than others, different variations are made for new, exciting ways to play casino games. Now with several Wheel of Fortune games available, bettors can choose which is right for their style of casino play.

At the moment, the eight types listed at DraftKings showcase the following:

  • MegaJackpots Wheel of Fortune On Air
  • Wheel of Fortune – Triple Extreme Spin
  • Hawaiian Getaway
  • Megaways
  • On Tour
  • On the Road
  • Ruby Riches
  • Winning Words

If you’re looking to take down a big prize, there’s no question which Wheel of Fortune title is for you. The MegaJackpots Wheel of Fortune On Air includes 20 paylines for 40 coins.

It offers lots of different ways to win more money through all of these unique features. Acquiring bonus symbols unlocks better wheel wedge upgrades. These can bring you turns of spinning the Wheel, Super Wheel, or Ultra Wheel.

Between Mystery Transforms, Wild Reels, respins, and multipliers, there’s enough in this one game to keep you entertained for quite a while.

Technically, every bet is eligible to win the progressive jackpot. But, the more you wager, the more likely you are to hit it.

Revealing a MegaJackpots token in an envelope during a bonus round nets a player the incredible prize. The more bonus symbols shown prior to reaching the bonus provides more tokens and enhances your shot at winning. There’s even a Second-Chance drawing that gives you another opportunity at taking it all.

After someone wins the progressive jackpot, the game resets its prize back down to $500,000. A total of 3.5% of the total funds wagered gets added to the prize each time someone plays.

The MegaJackpots Wheel of Fortune On Air progressive jackpot was valued at more than $508,000 as of Friday morning.
