WSOP NJ September Online Circuit Series Guarantees $1 Million Prize Pool
New Jersey online poker players will have plenty to play for this month as World Series of Poker has just announced their latest online circuit series. WSOP.com is launching 12 major events including from Sept. 14-25. All winners from these events will score championship rings.
This month’s event includes over $1 million in guarantees.
The New Jersey, Nevada player pool
WSOP.com NJ circuit tournaments are available in multiple states. Currently, a combined player pool exists between Nevada and New Jersey. This will be the largest of the series.
Players in Pennsylvania and Michigan will also have a series each but will play independently of each other. Players must be physically in one of the states to play in that market. The Pennsylvania and Michigan markets will feature $330,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
WSOP.com online circuit series Main Event
The main highlight of the series will be the Circuit Main Event. The $525 Main Event takes flight on Sept. 25 and features a $250,000 guarantee for players in New Jersey. All events will be in No Limit Hold’em with one Omaha tournament listed. Other highlights include:
- $500 BIG Kickoff (Event 1, Sept. 14) – $75,000 guaranteed
- $215 Monster Stack (Event 5, Sept. 18) – $125,000
- $320 PLO (Event 6, Sept. 19) – $40,000 guaranteed
- $1,000 High Roller (Event 9, Sept. 22) – $75,000 guaranteed

August online circuit winners from the Garden State
A couple players grabbed some hardware in August including New Jersey’s own Drew O’Connell. He took down event three last month and netted $13,773 for his accomplishment. He will now be eligible for the 2023 Tournament of Champions event.
The $1 million freeroll is for all 2022-23 bracelet and circuit ring winners, live or online.
This also includes international winners as well. Series organizers have released limited information for the event so far, and more is expected in the coming month. Play NJ will have future updates with information coming soon.
How to win a WSOP Main Event seat for free
Also in September players on WSOP.com have a chance at a $10,000 2023 Main Event seat. According to the site, any returning player that makes a deposit with code STACK20 will receive a tournament ticket for an exclusive freeroll on Friday, Sept. 30. The winner of the freeroll will win a seat.
