BetMGM Announces Almost $400K In NJ Online Slot Jackpots

When it comes to NJ gambling, Garden State players face the possibility (although far from guaranteed) of hitting for big jackpots. Well, one recent example of this took place on Borgata Casino online where two New Jersey gamblers won a combined $382K in jackpot prizes.

Parent company BetMGM did not disclose the winner’s names. One player hit for $100,000 while playing Gaming Realms’ Borgata Slingo XXXtreme. The other cashed out $282,000 richer on NextGen Gaming’s Wild Play Superbet.

“Our latest New Jersey jackpots are great examples of why we’re the leader in market,” said Alexander Limesand, Director of VIP Casino, BetMGM. “Every day we work to offer our players games that we know resonate and life-changing jackpots.”

Life-changing jackpots part of BetMGM/Borgata bigger picture

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, the Atlantic City casino market leader, also ranks No. 1 when it comes to NJ online casino revenue. And the three BetMGM brands operating under the license are a big reason why.

Besides the previously mentioned Borgata online casino, there are the BetMGM casino and PartyCasino NJ brands.

According to a press release shared with Play NJ, BetMGM currently holds a 30% online casino GGR market share in NJ. This does not include July 2022 results. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement will release those numbers Aug. 16. Looking at things from a NJ online casino revenue perspective, the brands operating under the Borgata license have earned $241.4 million so far in 2022, good enough for a 26.7% year-over-year increase.

The Garden State market as a whole currently sits at $814.5 million for the year, up 28.4%.

Looking at the bigger picture, when factoring in all live US markets, BetMGM touts an estimated 29% GGR market share across the country. Besides NJ, this includes West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Add them to the Borgata Casino online winners’ list

Those who read Play NJ on a regular basis are well aware these players are just the latest mystery names who are now enjoying substantial online jackpot winnings.

Last month, two BetMGM online casino players celebrated winning over $400,000 combined. This included one of them hitting for $240,000 playing the popular Pragmatic Play Jacks or Better.

However, even with combining these two winners with the others mentioned above, they still don’t measure up to BetMGM’s biggest payout of 2022. That player won $2.8 million playing Bison Fury.

And seeing as there are still four-plus months to go, you can bet more players will be joining the 2022 BetMGM jackpot list soon.
