WSOP.com NJ July Online Poker Circuit Begins Tonight, $1 Million In Guarantees


New Jersey online poker players will have one last chance this month to get in the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions (TOC). WSOP.com is hosting the monthly circuit series in July. Any winners from the events will automatically get a seat in the TOC.
The World Series of Poker’s online circuit event runs July 6-17. WSOP.com has 12 championship rings up for grabs and $1 million in guaranteed prize pools.
WSOP.com NJ $200,000 circuit main event
The WSOP.com NJ circuit $525 Main Event will launch on July 17. The tournament also comes with an elusive ring. Players in the New Jersey and Nevada markets share a player pool together.
Any players physically located in these states will be able to compete.
All of the online circuit series events feature No Limit Hold’em except for one Omaha tournament. Some notable tournaments include:
- $215 Deep Turbo (Event 3, July 8) – $50,000 guaranteed
- $320 NLHE 2x Re-entry (Event 4, July 9) – $100,000 guaranteed
- $1,000 High Roller Six-Max (Event 7, July 12) – $100,000 guaranteed
- $500 PLO Six-Max (Event 10, July 15) – $50,000 guaranteed

PA and MI players have 12 rings to win
Pennsylvania and Michigan will have their own separate series in July.
Their combined prizes will be more than $500,000. Pennsylvania and Michigan remain a “ringed-in” market for the time being, but a new compact may change that.
As of now, no time line has been listed for the merger. The Pennsylvania and Michigan series run concurrently July 6-17.
Tournament of Champions million dollar freeroll
Any event ring winner this month will have a chance to grab a TOC seat.
This is the last chance for players to get into the $1 million dollar freeroll.
WSOP will award all 2022 bracelet and ring winners, live or online, a ticket for the Tournament of Champions event.
The event is set for July 18 in Las Vegas and is the final event on the WSOP summer schedule. Players can’t buy into this event, they can only win a seat through having collected hardware.
WSOP June championship ring winners
New Jersey poker grinder Christopher “Basile28” Basile found some luck and his third ring last month. The Laurel Springs resident won $61,639 after taking down the June $250,000 guaranteed circuit main event. He defeated over 500 players to take home victory. Basile now has over $500,000 in lifetime tournament earnings.
In July of 2021 Basile came runner up for a bracelet event online. In that tournament he cashed in $65,935 for his efforts.
Summer online championship main event
Also continuing this month is the WSOP Online Championships (OC). The series offers daily action from through July 17. Tournament buy-ins range from $10 to $1,000.
The $320 Main Event in New Jersey and is set for July 17. The tournament guarantees a $150,000 bankroll. The winner also earns an exclusive WSOP championship belt.
The OC offers three events daily during the series. No Limit Hold’em is the featured format, but Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo are included as well.
Tournament styles will vary and include bounty events, progressive knockouts, deepstacks, and freezeouts.
