Atlantic City casinos celebrating St. Patrick's Day

There may be no luckier time to visit Atlantic City casinos than March 17 on  St. Patrick’s Day and into the weekend.

And you don’t have to be Irish to enjoy all the special casino offerings March 12 and again on March 17.

There are two dates for special events at Atlantic City casinos because of the annual Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day parade that was supposed to be held March 12.

The parade was canceled in January due to a scaled-down parade route amid boardwalk safety concerns as well as a lack of participant interest, according to parade organizers.

Yet the organizers encouraged those who live and visit Atlantic City to keep March 12 in mind as a good time to visit local businesses as they would if the parade happened.

No parade, but St. Patrick’s Day fun at Atlantic City casinos continues

When the 2022 Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the Atlantic City Boardwalk was canceled, parade organizers posted on their Facebook page and encouraged “residents, families and friends to keep with traditions and visit all local establishments March 12”, the date when the parade had been planned.

And indeed, there are various St. Patrick’s Day events – some planned for March 12 and others March 17 –  at Atlantic City casinos.

Atlantic City casinos plan for St. Patrick’s Day in a big way each year.

And in 2022, that’s no blarney.

Just keep an open mind about different music, outfits, food and of course, anything and everything green.

Best bets to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Atlantic City casinos

Special events and casino promotions for March 17 range from Irish bagpipers, Gaelic dancers, free green necklaces and special green drinks.

There also are a few special rates for staying after St. Patrick’s Day on Thursday and into the weekend.

Here’s a list we’ve compiled of what some Atlantic City casinos have in store for St. Patrick’s Day and the weekend.

At Resorts, one day isn’t enough to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Planned events include music and drink specials on March 12 and again on March 17.
