BetMGM Bounty Blitz Poker Fest NJ Features 24 Events, Guarantees Over $200,000 Prize Pool
The BetMGM Bounty Blitz Poker Fest is the latest tournament series announced by the partypoker US Network. The series offers up to three events each night in New Jersey.
The tournament series guarantees over $200,000 in prize pool payouts. The poker series takes off from Feb 20-27 and will include 24 events with buy-ins ranging from $35 to $1,000.
“I will be jumping in a few of these tournaments,” said Brandon Foster, a poker player from Williamstown, New Jersey. “I prefer bounty-style tournaments over regular ones.”
In NJ, players have three different options to choose from. All three sites share the same player pool but have different skins. Players can only be logged into one at a time. Here’s a look at the three options for NJ players:
Players can only compete if they are physically located in New Jersey at the time of the event. Players on mobile devices may need to be connected to wifi to play.
February’s BetMGM Bounty Blitz Poker Fest highlights
The biggest standout event is on Feb. 27. New Jersey players will have to put up $1,000 and it will come with a $75,000 guarantee. For every player they eliminate, they will receive a $500 bounty.
“Bounty Blitz puts one of the most entertaining formats in poker in the spotlight for an entire series,” Luke Staudenmaier, Director of Poker at BetMGM, said in a release. “We’re excited to follow-up the New Year Knockout Weekend with even more bounty-centric events at additional, accessible price points.”
All events in this series will be No limit hold’em. Some highlighted events in the series include:
- $500 Double Black Chip Bounty (Event 1, Feb. 20) – $50,000 guaranteed
- $75 Green Chip Bounty (Event 7, Feb. 22) – $10,000 guaranteed
- $200 Black Chip Bounty (Event 13, Feb. 24) – $15,000 guaranteed
- $100 Double Green Chip Bounty (Event 24, Feb. 27) – $10,000 guaranteed
