Caesars Entertainment is opening Nobu Hotel Atlantic City within its flagship Boardwalk casino.

The high-end, Japanese-influenced hotel and restaurant will open by summer 2022 inside Caesars Atlantic City.

Nobu Hotel Atlantic City is part of Caesars Entertainment’s $400 million reinvestment plan to upgrade its three Atlantic City casino hotels. The Reno-based gaming company owns Caesars AC, Harrah’s Resort AC, and Tropicana AC.

“The debut of Nobu Hotel Atlantic City at Caesars Atlantic City will revitalize the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk and raise the hospitality bar by introducing world-class experiences to the market,” the company said in a statement Tuesday.

AC, New Orleans, Vegas getting Nobu upgrades

In addition to the Atlantic City project, Caesars Entertainment and Nobu Hospitality will open a hotel at Harrah’s New Orleans and a restaurant/lounge at Paris Las Vegas.

The original Las Vegas Nobu Hotel location inside Caesars Palace is undergoing renovations now.

Nobu Hospitality founders Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and film producer Meir Teper said the first hotel in Vegas broke the mold by “placing boutique experience inside one of the most iconic resorts on the Strip.”

“We now have expanded the collection around the world, and we have a robust pipeline of destinations in development. We are excited to take this next step in our growing partnership with Caesars,” they said in a statement.

Atlantic City’s larger plan

Caesars Entertainment intends to complete its massive capital expenditure plan for Atlantic City by 2023.

Company executives have said nearly $190 million is earmarked for Caesars AC. More than $170 million is going toward renovating hotel rooms at Caesars AC and Harrah’s Resort AC.

The AC plan “will further position the city as a leading travel destination on the East Coast.”

Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg said Nobu’s “sophisticated elegance is the perfect complement,” to the renovation projects.
